The regional project, ‘Empowering Women for Sustainable Peace: Preventing Violence and Promoting Social Cohesion in ASEAN (2021-2025)’, supports efforts by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and its 10 Member States to promote gender equality and to respond to an increasingly widespread call across the globe for women to be empowered to lead and participate in peace and development.
