Journey of Project WPS ASEAN

“Empowering Women for Sustainable Peace: Preventing Violence and Promoting Social Cohesion in ASEAN” project, supported by the Governments of Canada, the Republic of Korea, and the United Kingdom, is implemented during 2021-2025 in close partnership with ASEAN. In times of rising tension against the changing geopolitical backdrop, the project has made achievements in strengthening ASEAN’s frameworks to promote the Women, Peace and Security agenda and provide enabling space for women and girls in the peace and security sector across ASEAN and its Member States.
